Lingumi's Phonics course comprises of 60 lessons, each lasting between 10 to 15 minutes. These lessons blend teacher-led instruction with interactive games, providing a dynamic learning experience.
I took on a variety of essential tasks, including illustrating backgrounds, bringing character to each grapheme with mini animations and designing all game assets to ensure they were both educational and entertaining.
A significant aspect of the course involves games centred around listening to and repeating sounds. Leveraging innovative AI-powered speech recognition technology, children receive real-time feedback as they practise the phonic sounds. Throughout the lessons, children are introduced to blending and segmenting games, laying the groundwork for early reading skills.
